I was anxious to get back by now,  I needed to see
my house. also sad to leave and finally we got
on a plane to Mexico,
when we arrived, there was water still in the house,
gradually things returned to normal, in a town that just
had a bad hurricane.
soon we would be off to the states so Isabella would
become an American citizen upon arrival.
we went to Florida and stayed with grandma
and soon Debbie and Nina joined us.

MOM CAME TO VISIT in Guatemala

My cousin Ely and his Wife Lisa, flew in from North Carolina and got to meet Isabella in Antigua. It was raining so hard from the results of hurricane Stan, that they had to land in Honduras.

                                                                 Ely and Isabella

We stayed in Guatemala until november 6, in 2005, We had to stay longer because of a number 5 hurricane Wilma in Cancun/Playa del carmen. We waited in Antigua until they openned the Cancun airport and we could go back.

Here is Anita and Claire, and Isabella

After I was settled in my apt.
with Isabella
mom came down
and fell
in love with
Isabella it was
september 05

It was so nice to have mom with us, and she got to know a bit of
Guatemala, and to meet Carmen, Isabella's foster mom.
Mom bumped into Anita, they were staying at the same hotel! Anita was visiting her baby Claire, who is 5 days older than Isabella

Mom and I, Isabella, and Zoila,
took a trip up the beautiful mountain to Panachel. It was a bit curvy for mom.
Zoila helped ot with Isabella
When mom went back home, we hung out with Anita and Claire on Anitas visit to Guatemala. We went to the market and took some pictures of a mother and her little girl from Nebaj, a village further north.
