Isabella's Conversion Ceremony

OUR FLORIDA TRIP

Isabella and i went to florida to see my mom. we went to the west palm beach zoo, and saw beautiful white albino peacock, who did a terrific spread and i caught him on camera! Isabella was converted into Judaism, following ancient traditions. and we went to Disney, and had a fun play date.

ISABELLA'S CONVERSION AND BABY NAMING

We had a conversion ceremony for Isabella. 2 Rabbis and a Cantor were witnesses. We went to the beach, and said a prayer, and then immersed isabella 3 times in the ocean, the waters were extremely rough, and it was cool, and was about to rain. Then we went back to the synagogue and made a blessing over the wine, and many blessings from the Rabbi, Rabbi Feldman, and we had cake.
Isabella's given hebrew name, in memory of my father Burton Baruch Grodin,
I named her Ahava Bracha Bat Gilah, A Blessing of Love, My Daughter (Gilah, me)

DISNEY

Then we went on an adventure to Disney.
First we went to animal kingdom. Isabella saw her first elephant, zebra, and giraffe, in person!!!! The next day we went to Magic Kingdom with Mary and Juliette. This was the first time meeting them. Later we cooled off in the pool
after we met up with Marcy, Sophie, and Brice for dinner. Isabella slept through dinner, she had had a very long day!
It is a complete honor to be able to meet up with other families from the Gafi island group. Juliette is learning to swim, and after that day isabella also wants to swim, so thanks Juliette, and Isabella is now taking swimming lessons. pics to come.

isabella's school, akluum, had a spring celebration. We went to the beach by the playa mayan ruin.Then the parent's were invited back to school for lunch, a great feast!

SARAH's VISIT

On NEW YEAR'S DAY, i had a last minute visit with Sarah and her three kids. They went on a quick vacation to Cancun. Sofie, anoter Guatemalan Princess, and Morgan and Grant. Isabella and Sophie are born a month apart. Sarah is a fellow pisces. Sarah lives in Kentucky near Anita.
They came to visit us in Playa del Carmen. it was so much fun seeing the two girls together, and meeting Sarah. Sophie,Morgan and Grant. .
I sure hope to meet them again.soon
